The powder cycled as usual great to bad to great. Living here lets me ski the great days!
On Wednesday Jack and I skied Papa’s and Red Tree we make the first tracks of the season on those runs, in perfect snow. People had skied Snake Main through the newly opened ski lines into Gorby Bowl. See the FAR improvements story.
At 3000 5000ft , 15 25 cm of light powder sits on a solid base. Over 6500ft, 50 cm of nice powder awaits for those motivated to hike. Hazards exist in lower elevations be careful.
The count down has begun 23 days to opening!
