Wet and Wild!
It might have been the Ghostrider hockey game that made me sleep in that Saturday morning. But it was most likely the rain from the day before that kept me in bed till the avi bombs went off at 8am. Opening the window I saw fat sticky snow flakes and it was coming down at a steady rate.
By the time I got to the bottom Timber to the top of the Timber my gear was getting wet, not from rain but from wet snow. I was not left alone in my theory of staying high on the White Pass chair as the initial bottleneck had the line backed up for 15 minutes. Other then being wet, the snow was not as heavy as thought. Knee deep to waist deep untracked powder at noon! I couldn’t believe it. The only reason I left at 3pm was my gear was to wet to ride the lift anymore. A long soak in the hot tub as calling my name.

Dust off the powder legs.
